WHY BRAND GUIDELINES ARE IMPORTANT

The purpose of brand guidelines is to maintain visual consistency when using the new Alamo City Golf Trail logo. The logo has been designed to convey the association's brand personality in all areas of use. Every time you use the new Alamo City Golf Trail logo, whenever in promotional, advertising or branding materials, you make a statement about our association. It is vital that it always be handled in a consistent and professional manner.

This reference will help us communicate clearly with our patrons and potential patrons, promoting awareness and brand loyalty. Think of this guide as a reference for upholding a strong name that you are helping create. Thank you for doing your part in launching and growing our new brand identity.

THE ALAMO CITY GOLF TRAIL LOGO

The Alamo City Golf Trail name and logo, created by GSD&M's Idea City Design Group, represents eight municipal golf courses and the Municipal Golf Association of San Antonio.

The silhouette of the Alamo, with its doors opening in the form of a golf tee, unites a universally recognized symbol of San Antonio with our sport. The typography and colors were chosen to have a friendly feel yet also retain a professional look.

The Alamo City Golf Trail signals a bold and dynamic approach for promoting, upgrading and maintaining many of San Antonio's best municipal golf courses.

PROCESS-COLOR LOGO

The process-color logo is composed of CMYK screen mixes and is the preferred version to use whenever possible. It is available as an Adobe Illustrator file and as a Photoshop JPEG file.

FLAT-COLOR LOGO

The flat-color logo is composed of the following colors: PANTONE® 282C (blue) and PANTONE® 462C (mocha). For the uncoated color version, the logo uses PANTONE® 072U (blue) and PANTONE® 4625U (mocha). It is available as an Adobe Illustrator file and as a Photoshop JPEG file.

ONE-COLOR LOGO

The one-color logo is composed of the following color: PANTONE® 282C (blue). For the uncoated color version, the logo uses PANTONE® 282U (blue). It is available as an Adobe Illustrator file and as a Photoshop JPEG.

BLACK LOGO

The black logo prints 100% black. It is used when blacked is the only color option offered. It is available as an Adobe Illustrator file and as a Photoshop JPEG file.

REVERSED-OUT LOGO

The reversed-out logo prints 100% white. It is used when reproducing our logo against any dark color background. It is only available as an Adobe Illustrator file.

FONTS AND COLORS

The Alamo City Golf Trail uses the following fonts in marketing materials: Garamond Light, Interstate Regular and Futura Book.
